Multilingual breast cancer vocabuary for patients

 

Project carried out in cooperation between the Institut for Applied Linguistics of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Institut Català d'Oncologia, linked to the Generalitat de Catalunya.

 

The search for information and the initial processing of terminological data have been carried out within the framework of the Terminology Management course (21544-20276) of the Translation and Interpreting and Applied Languages studies at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, of the 2017-2018 academic year. The IULATERM group (Lexicon and Technology) of the Institute for Applied Linguistics (IULA) was in charge of the reviewing and editing of the dictionary. Expert advice has been provided by professionals and patients from the Institut Català d'Oncologia (ICO).
